TASK IQ USER GUIDE

Reuse a form or procedure

Give recurring work a consistent set of instructions.

Before you begin

Start with a form you can edit. Have the instructions and questions your team needs ready before publishing a reusable setup.

Step by step

  1. If you manage procedures, open Forms and choose an available starter or create a form.
  2. Add the questions and instructions people need. Preview the form and check required answers.
  3. Save and publish the form when it is ready. Published versions keep earlier work connected to the instructions it used.
  4. Use Blueprints to save a reusable setup for recurring work, including the published procedure.
  5. When you do the work, open Procedure on the work order, complete the required answers and save.

What happens next

A published form or saved blueprint can support the next suitable work order. People doing the work use the procedure attached to their order.

For people completing the work, see Answer a form or procedure.

Need a hand?

The questions available depend on the form and your access. A later form change does not silently change a procedure already attached to work. If a required answer cannot be completed, tell your supervisor before submitting the task.
